Retail Nursery Hours
Our scheduled “opening” hours are for clients who want to drop in, browse, and choose selections from the nursery. Sometimes it can get busy quickly and we do our best to connect with everyone as soon as we can. While we are here to help with questions and can point you to some options based on your needs, our more individualized assistance is offered through our Garden Design & Consultation service. Please note that we are not always able to provide pricing for out-of-stock items during opening hours as these are treated as Special Orders and our focus is on supporting retail sales during this time.
Garden Design & Consultation
Scheduling an appointment for garden design and consultation allows us to provide individualized assistance and expertise to clients in a focused setting. We require a prepaid deposit at the time of scheduling your appointment. Depending on the scope of your project, we can meet with you at your property or here at the nursery. Preparation of designs, scaled drawings, permitting support, and other professional services are provided at an hourly rate and a deposit may be required before proceeding. Appointments are scheduled at mutually convenient times, normally Monday to Friday, and may be outside retail hours.
Wholesale & Contractor Rates
We can work with contractors and their clients to select plants to complete landscape projects. If you have a completed design and intend to fulfill a supplied list of plants, we encourage you to email us your request so we can provide you with a quote. Please note that wholesale/ contractor orders are quoted based on the complete list of plants to finish the job supplied through us. Requests for single items or plants not regularly stocked at the nursery are treated as Special Orders (see below).
Special Orders
We are often able to order small quantities of larger items, specifically trees. We are not normally able to order small quantities of shrubs and perennials that wouldn’t be regularly available in our nursery. Our suppliers have order minimums that often require to purchase as many as 6 of the same shrub and/or 12 of the same perennial in order to bring in that variety, along with minimum monetary order values to proceed. When seeking a plant not regularly available in our nursery, we cannot usually fulfill Special Orders unless the client intends to meet these minimums.
Installation
If you are looking for someone to professionally plant your selections, we are often able to refer you to a local contractor who can provide you with pricing. Please note that while we are qualified and insured to install plants purchased through the farm, our availability is limited and a minimum project scope is required as part of our engagement. As a starting point, prospective installation clients should book a Garden Design & Consultation appointment at their property to discuss their needs. We do not offer “hourly rates” for installations currently.
